Corfu town

Took the ferry to Corfu on Wed., after a bus to Igoumenitsa. Planned to get taxi, but they were on strike, so we rented a car. First time driving in Greece, but they are a little more relaxed here. Roads are narrow but all paved. So if someone wants to pass you, you kindly pull over a bit, and if you want to pass and another car is coming towards you, no need to wait, they just pull over! It's all very civilized!

Picture 1- boats in the canal at the fort. Corfu town has 2 forts, old and new.
2. Clock tower at fort
3. Byzantine architecture at fort
4. A street in the old town, very quaint, Corfu was once occupied by the french, and Italian, so has lots of influences. Several cruise ships in each day.
